“PMJ was on tour in Europe when this was recorded. Scott Bradlee, the pianist and leader of PMJ, wanted to record this after eight days of constant playing. Haley wasn’t feeling up to the task because her voice was tired. They did one take. Scott said it was great, but Haley wasn’t happy with her performance. Scott was correct. Haley owned this song. One of my favorite vocal performances EVER. And the band? They are always on point. This is the song that got me looking deep into the PMJ archives. It’s pretty darn deep so strap in for a ride. Next? Morgan James singing “Dream On” by Aerosmith. Put on your big boy pants for that one because Morgan is a powerhouse. Keep up the fun reactions. Peace“
